The Children’s Miracle Network
The Children’s Miracle Network of Champions is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for 170 affiliated children’s hospitals. Each year, these hospitals help 14 million kids. These children suffer from all diseases and injuries including cancer, AIDS, birth defects, accidents and trauma. In fact, Children’s Miracle Network children’s hospitals help more children each year than any other organization.
The Mission of the Children’s Miracle Network is to generate funds and awareness programs for the benefit of children served by its associated hospitals, health centres and foundations.
Not only is RE/MAX the premier real estate choice, but we are also the exclusive real estate sponsor of The Children’s Miracle Network.
The RE/MAX-Children’s Miracle Network affiliation began in 1986 when RE/MAX affiliates in Calgary, Alberta and the Quebec Region started raising funds for the worthy cause. In 1992, RE/MAX International adopted Children’s Miracle Network as their official corporate charity. Raising funds for hospitalized children to date, RE/MAX has collectively raised over $132 million for the cause.
RE/MAX affiliates in Canada raised $4 million across the country in 2014. RE/MAX of Western Canada affiliates raised $2 million, making RE/MAX of Western Canada the largest contributing region in the entire RE/MAX organization for the eighth year in a row. These funds were raised through community events, the RE/MAX Miracle Home Program – where a portion of the associates’ funds are donated to Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals. The hallmark of our involvement with Children’s Miracle Network is that 100% of the funds raised in our community benefit a Children’s Hospital Foundation which services our local children.
As part of the fund raising effort,we have decided to designate all of our future home sales as Miracle Homes®. This enables us, as RE/MAX associates, the opportunity to make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network on behalf of each home sold!
We hope you will share our joy, in knowing that YOU are helping hospitalized children and helping make our community a better place.
